Ashton Blessey, A.J. Krause and Mike Wade head out for a quick pre Independence Day Dive on Saturday.
Seas were forecast 2-3 ft. but in reality were 3-5 which made for a very bumpy 2 hour ride out to one of our favorite dive spots.
The day was overcast with scattered thunderstorms.

Ashton Blessey and A.J. with a couple of amberjack.  Seas were choppy and there was a swift surface current.
Visibility was murky down to 30' then opened to 30' + vis.

Spearfishermen with their limit of amberjack for the day.

Mike with a couple of mangrove snapper.
Other fish seen today were jack crevalle, barracuda, look downs and the ever present spade fish.
